Texas fires Tom Herman

They were 3-9 in his 6th year as head coach.
He was 27-47 (20-27)

maybe they shouldn’t have fired him, but calling it “maybe the most ridiculous college firing of all time” is possibly the most ridiculous thing ever said on this board
If you look only at record sure, the truth is that FIU is an extremely tough go and Cristobal was on track to possibly become HC at Miami if not for a terrible decision.

The 6 years he was there they were 27-47

the 6 years after he left they were 31-43. The first two years of those 6 with the players Cristobal recruited they were 5-19

no doubt FIU is a tough job. But Cristobal did no better than Ron Turner and did worse than Butch Davis. He deserved to get fired

I hope Steve and Texas have something in that contract about ... Steve's issues with drinking. That was supposedly a problem in the past...

Every contract has this even if you are a recovering.....

Not sure if that's the case, I'm not sure USC had anything about that in their contract with him, or at least it didn't come up / avoid a lawsuit.

Hey Steve stick to Busch Light stay off the hard stuff.
