maybe they shouldn’t have fired him, but calling it “maybe the most ridiculous college firing of all time” is possibly the most ridiculous thing ever said on this board

The 6 years he was there they were 27-47

the 6 years after he left they were 31-43. The first two years of those 6 with the players Cristobal recruited they were 5-19


no doubt FIU is a tough job. But Cristobal did no better than Ron Turner and did worse than Butch Davis. He deserved to get fired

I did a little digging and it looks like open containers became illegal in Texas in 2001.

I guess it had been more than 15 years. Just a guess on my part.
