Student Section is SOLD OUT

+1. Cheer for your school. When someone goes to one school, but remains a fan of the school from their home state, it's like they've disconnected the team from the school. It's sort of like getting married but still dating your high school girlfriend.

Best analogy yet. HAHA! :)

The badger fan loves Todd Bertuzzi. This also makes a ton of sense.

Haha it all comes from the video game. I love how exceedingly mediocre he is. I could not care less about the guy in real like, in fact I think he's a d*uche. It's hard to explain, but for a year straight my friends and I played NHL 2009 as a drinking pregame and Todd Bertuzzi was our anchor on a horrendous Calgary Flames team.

FWIW, the guy who made this account is a Gopher fan.

NHL 94 is the best hockey game ever. Followed by Nintendo Ice Hockey.

I can't even come close to estimating how many hours I played that game on my Sega Genesis. Right after a goal, check a guy, start a fight, and split his head open. Endless fun.

Gawd, I love the twitching legs.

Thanks Miranda. This could be taken right off Buckyville nearly any day of the week.

Whenever I return to visit my friends there, it is guaranteed that one of their new college friends will ask me, “If you’re from Madison, why didn’t you go here? Did you not get in?”

I personally rejected UW-Madison twice. Once for undergrad and once for medical school.

Sorry not everyone loves your precious (read: evil) school.

I honestly don't even mind if you were still a fan of the home state school as well. I just think you should cheer for your school when you play that team.

Cheer for your undergrad school, plain and simple. Born in Wisconsin and go to the U for undergrad? Cheer for the gophers. Born in MN and go to UW? Cheer for the Badgers. It's not rocket science.

Obviously grad school is irrelevant. Support your undergraduate alma mater
