STrib: Minnesota doesn't need a shake up, it needs an earthquake of change.

He particularly irritated me last night by finally looking for his own shot during absolute garbage time against bottom of the roster players and walk ons instead of trying to get something for his teammates who rarely get a chance to score. Doesn't say much for his "leadership" in my view.

Any chance the NE starters were able to deny his shot better?

Zebedee Howell not coming out of the locker room.

I think his point was. In garbage time let the freshman and sophomores get practice against the weak competition instead of now deciding to pad his own stats.

.... and we didn't cut the lead to less than 25 points at that. [emoji21]

I may have wiffed on that one.

Joey cleaned up earlier this year against weaker non-conference competition, too. He's a good secret weapon as a complementary player but not a very good "star."

If he's your 'go to guy', he's easy to shut down.

Eric Magdanz is not walking through that door. (I was going to go Mel Northway.)

I have renewed hope today. Things are going to get better.

Russ Archambeau ain't walkin' through that door.

But maybe if he did...
he could start a fight with Amir Coffey and ...Oh never mind.

Jesus - Murphy's Law doesn't need any ideas!!

Cut Amelia some slack. She's cute and she barfed after Teague kissed her.

Alonzo Skanes and Junior Graves are not walking through that door.

Ah, gotta love the resiliency of the gopherhole. I envy your renewed hope.

Kerwin Fleming is not walking through that door.

I guess Selection Sunday and I think alike.

Exactly! He was never meant to be "the man". Not his game at all. I think Morris was supposed to be...but...he's kind of a train wreck IMO. I just don't like his game.

Seems to me the Gophers centers are nowhere near Big Ten caliber. Non-existent. Will never win in Big that way.

This is hilarious! I was watching the game last night and was wondering if we'd see here Richard's own version of Rick's "not walking through that door" moment.

Darrell Whaley is not walking through that door fans, Kevin Loge is not walking through that door, Mich Ohnstand is not walking though that door...and if you expect them to walk through that door they are going to be grey and old. What we are is young, exciting (pathetic), hardworking (minimal effort), and going to improve (I'd hope so). People don't realize that...as soon as they realize those 3 guys aren't walking through that door the better this town will be for all us. Because those young guys in that room are (not) playing their asses off. I wish we had 10 open scholarships, I wish we could fill them all with guys that could shoot and play defense, we can't. The only thing we can do is (start to) work hard.

Mo Hargrow isn't coming in that door and then leaving and coming back in.

Neither will Kris Humphries choose not to walk through the door and then later on decide, you know, I think I WILL walk through that door.

Junior Graves isn't walking through that door. Terrance Williams isn't walking through that door. Kelvin (not Kevin) Smith isn't walking through that door.

Bobby Jackson isn't walking through that door.

Go Gophers!!

Hey, this is the most fun I've seen on the page in quite some time!

According to Sid, Chris Webber was strongly considering it, but he isn't walking through that door. Kevin Burleson isn't walking through that door either, so obviously, neither is Doug Wrenn. Since they weren't asked in the first place, Nate Wolters, Jake Sullivan, Troy Bell, Eric Coleman, Brett McNeal, and a host of former MN Preps wouldn't think of stepping through that door.

The ghost of John Wooden was considering stepping through the door, but then a blizzard hit and. . .well, you know.
