St
St Kate's would shutter its doors before merging with St Thomas. The schools have ended much of their cooperation as St Thomas cares very little about Social Justice while St Kate's cares about those students who cannot support themselves on their own. This is why nursing, social work, ASL/Interpreting are so strong at St Kate's. They empower women to make a difference in their communities. Their vision and mission is contrary to St Thomas's narcissism.Over the years St. Thomas wanted to merge but St. Kate's declined. During the disscussions the schools decided to have a reciprocal relationship with letting students take classes at each others schools.
