We were listening on the way back from Lincoln, on the affiliates in Des Moines and Mason City. Ugggh. Sounds like a funeral on big successful plays but all gassed up for big losses. He needs to go back to Canterbury and stick to calling the nags.

Mike Grimm has the same problem for basketball. His broadcasts would be much better if he would stop whining about the referees.

The last time I'd listened to PA on the radio was on the way home from Ohio State in 2015. Switching between him and Wayne Laravee on WTMJ was shocking.

On the Power Trip this morning, both Hawkey and PA gave their recollection of the broadcast. Said that there was a very drunk and obnoxious fan directly in front of their box, and he was causing issues. Sounds like he was frustrating everyone on the call until security (police in SWAT gear) booted him.

LOL. I bet those guys have a bunch of away-game fan stories. I'm guessing a few coming from Philly.
