That is actually kinda cool for the players. Another internal competition for draft status, adding excitement to the moment. It is adding an ESPN spin to what usually is just printing out a list of players. I like it.

That is kinda a cool activity, draft day and etc. Could be a lot of silly fun if they wanted to do that and go over the top.

From the short video posted it looks like they went over the top big time and mimicked the NFL draft pretty well. Kind of cool. Wonder if Mr. Irrelevant got a special award?

Cool idea.
Cool draft.

I think it's one more thing to keep players engaged. Anxious to see how they did it when they release more media clips.

Interesting how Maroon only has 2 RB. Also gold has Brooks listed. Obviously he won't play, but nice they still included him in the draft! Plus since he's Coach Brooks for the year he can practice his Coaching chops during the game helping Gold's RBs.

Seems like Maroon will rely heavier on the passing game, since they got Johnson the "better" WRs while Gold got the "better" RBs (better here meaning more experienced/actually have played in a college game before). It will be interesting who they choose for QB. My bet is Gold pics Vic and maroon picks Tanner.

Anyone heard the extent of Dunlap's injury and whether he will play in the spring game?
 

Is the spring game going to be televised? It was in year's past but I can't find anything about this year....

With maroon only taking two RB's they followed my drafting strategy.
I am choosing maroon as the team who I will root for (and who will win) as a result of this sound drafting strategy.

Being replayed Saturday at 9pm on BTN. Not sure if it's being streamed live on BTN Go or not.

I'm going with maroon.

Tanner Morgan is the #1 QB right now. He's got the worst backup QB.
So either by drafting, or by decision, they want him to get the most reps.

Or maybe Gold selected QB first and got first choice at a second QB....

Possible.

Gold team picks Annexstad or Vic first, team Maroon went defensive with Winfield maybe, then pick two went to Gold and they took Vic or Annexstad, then Maroon finally decide to draft Morgan?

Seems unlikely.

Did they draft within position groups or was it a free-for-all?
 

I like to think they put a banner of PJ's ominous head above each sideline ....
