This is absolutely stunning. I know that re-branding is difficult (just ask Nebraska post-Solich) and Wisconsin had a well-developed brand of great offensive lines and active punishing defenses, but--especially on offense--the game has changed dramatically (and in fairness P.J. had to realize that as well) and the thunderous ground-and-pound has pretty much left the building at the FBS level. There has to be something else going on in Madison to have this level of defection.
There may be a Nebaska-esque story in the making. I can see Fickell getting bounced and Leonhard coming back ala Scott Frost for the Cornhuskers. We all saw how that turned out. Not saying Leonhard wouldn't succeed, but success wouldn't be guaranteed either.
