sounds like Mullen is the guy!!

Supposedly (per GI) Bruininks was overheard at Williams last night saying "We got our guy."

Take that for whatever it's worth.

Yep, he was talking about a free agent acquisition in his fantasy football league :)

If those were his exact words, then that's probably a good thing. I don't think he'd say "we got our guy" if we he had to settle for a mediocre coach. That seems like the type of thing he'd say about someone he was really happy about getting.

If I had to chose between Golden and Fulmer, then Golden is the man. Would rather have Mullen, but it is what it is.

Sounds like just a rumor - I think Edsall is in the picture; Golden, too. But Mullen would be a great hire...Mississippi State scrambling to keep him, which is what he may really want.

It took all night

But, I finally figured out what to say ad nauseum: buyout for Bronco Mendenhall is under a million. Pay would be fine at 1.5 million. All we have to do is dedicate the expansion of the stadium to Jesus, and not sell booze. That's why God created tailgating and invisible flasks.

Bronco and Golden are both guys with names that would fit the program really well. Either one could be considered a name-fated hire.

For them to turn down the offer would be like a guy named Leonidas Van Pelt turning down Michigan State.

One problem though - the U already has had one Bronko, and there can never be another.

His children are named Raider-Steel, Breaker, and Cutter.

If Wikipedia is accurate, I find that to be quite disturbing

Mullen is on the top of my wish list, we will see.

I guess that's what you get for using the Star Trek Baby Names Book.

Maybe it was down to Golden and Mullen, and the recent news that Golden is out could indicate that Mullen is our guy. It hasn't been denied yet. Sounds like MSU is scrambling to hold on to him.

I'm just wondering what kind of hatred you must have for your baby to name it Cutter.

Well when you're dad is a Bronco, and you're brother is a Raider. Cutter lucked out.

Could've been a Chief.
