The article is the literate equivalent of walking into a room, tossing a gernade and exiting before it blows up. It was written so that people would click on it and comment, so that the paper will make money. It's what the Strib does, they have writers who are either rediculously negative, see Reusse and Souhan, or rediculously optimistic and anti change, Sid, to the point where it's not credible journalism. It's like that in all forms media, the most popular political hacks are people like Ed Schultz, Chris Matthews, Bill Mahr, Rush and Bill O'Reilly, none of those people use critical thinking or objective debate in their arguments, it's all one sided, but that's what the masses, want they want to read people that they agree with so they can get on their soapbox and crucify the people that they disagree with. Moderate and oblective doesn't bring internet hits, radio or t.v ratings.
