Yeah, he's not saying anything that's not obvious. He's got the gifts to play both ways. He wants to be on a playoff team. He also wants to stay in MN. These are all obvious things.good lord for eye roll.
Thor has had some really good takes and is a great guy, but he also likes to talk things into existence and is working on raising his profile.
Of course Koi wants to play for a team that's going to compete. No one who is a competitor wants to play on a team that sucks. He's going to get 3 shots at this in college and i'm sure playing meaningful games down the stretch is important to him. nothing about this is remotely novel/ingenious but it just creates talking points that are impossible to refute and make discussion.
Why does he say this stuff like the player told him this?
He does have sources in college football. Might not be direct from Koi but may be family, friends, other players, or even coaches. Why does he say this stuff like the player told him this?
i think i could see them running him on jets, tunnels, etc. Simple route tree. Super underrated part of a guy like Hunter's game is he can run the full route tree at an NFL level. That is really hard to learn if you haven't done it before (and added to that you need to do it with timing/in sync with your QB to hit things consistently other than go routes or screens/pop passes) and it's why I hate when anyone throws out that a guy will be like the next Hunter. There are a handful of guys every year who play one side of the ball and a short set of snaps on the opposite side. To do what Hunter did at the level he did is a way different thing. The problem I see with playing him both ways is do we know if he can play WR? If he plays rb like he did in high school from my understanding, then I can’t imagine giving him more than a few touches a game. Even a rb2 type role seems like it’d be asking a lot at an injury prone position.
Yes, he can play WR. In many ways, but most importantly as a competitor, he is on a different level than almost everyone on the field, you can see it while you watch him play live. He lined up in the slot but never carried the ball up the middle so don't worry about that. Maybe a jet sweep or two next year? Watch him play; focus on him only for a play or two, he is a special player. The problem I see with playing him both ways is do we know if he can play WR? Interesting. 8-9 wins is absolutely doable with the team’s talent level and the schedule going into 2025, I’m just hoping we see something closer to Max-level performance out of Lindsey than Athan-level performance. Good (or even serviceable) quarterback play is a must for playoff contention. Here's the clip if you like:
If we can even get non-2019 Morgan type QB production, I think we win at least 9 games.Interesting. 8-9 wins is absolutely doable with the team’s talent level and the schedule going into 2025, I’m just hoping we see something closer to Max-level performance out of Lindsey than Athan-level performance. Probably could have gotten more money. Here's the clip if you like:
