Someone help me understand B1G preseason steam on wisky/iowa

Wisky and Iowa get the benefit of the doubt about successfully replacing good veteran players because they have done it successfully in the past while MN, Ill, Purdue, and to some extent NW have not. When we have done it, people will take us seriously, until then we are a pretender.
 

Iowa is solid in both the OL and DL which is a key to success in the BIG. Their O should be decent and be pretty good if they can develop a deep threat. Two of the new LB's could be a Sr and Jr. so they have experience. Picking the Hogeyes near the top of the West is no surprise.

Wisconsin will likely continue to pound the rock but could struggle on D with all their newbies. I don't see them winning the West.

The Huskers play @ MSU, Badgers and Iowa so their BIG schedule is tougher than WI and Iowa.

I think the West will come down to Iowa and Neb fighting it out on Nov 28 to see who gets to the BIG Championship game.
