SIAP: Living Social deal for TCU game

Where did you pull that number out of, your axe?

From the article in last Sunday's Strib. It reported total season tickets sold of 32,520, which includes 3,634 to students.

I heard back from an official source at the U, and as of 5pm today, they had 5000 tickets left to sell for TCU.

They also confirmed that for the TCU game, they are giving freshman tickets, and I believe in the past, that's been 5000. Which I think is great, having a full student section for that game.

There are currently 1600 tickets on StubHub.
Are those being counted as being sold?

I'm also assuming the tickets purchased on the Living Social site is a combo of both games and not just the TCU game?

Nope - I bought tickets to just the Kent St. game ($15 each).

Sorry I meant the little tracker that keeps track of the number purchased. I bet that is a tracker for tickets sold for both games not just the TCU game.

Choose from the following offers:
• $30 ($50 value) for an upper level corner ticket (September 3 vs. TCU)
• $149 ($249 value) for a premium outdoor club ticket with access to DQ Club (September 3 vs. TCU)
• $15 ($30 value) for an upper level corner ticket (September 19 vs. Kent State)
• $79 ($99 value) for a premium outdoor club ticket with access to DQ Club (September 19 vs. Kent State)

Go Gophers!!

So, this says that everyone pretty much bundled the Homecoming game with Wisconsin or Nebraska.

There's a promo code to get 20% off any Living Social purchase of $50 or more. Shoot me a message here if anyone is interested. Code good until the 14th.

Just grabbed 8 for friends and family for $24/ticket after 20% discount. Fantastic deal.

Oh, and btw, the discount code is: "wkndsale" when you check out.

Is the code the one posted next? It applies 20% to the first ticket, but seems to diminish as you add more tickets.

Correct.

Edit: The discount does seem to get smaller the more you buy for some reason. Example: 2 DQ section tickets are discounted $50 while 20% off comes to $30/ticket.

This is great! I have season tickets but I sent it to 6 friends who now plan on coming. Stadium will be full, now we just need to bring the atmosphere

Edit: Also already 474 sold? Alright!!!

Four tickets bought. Found a 15% off code that applied to the whole order unlike the 20% off.

The voucher numbers sure don't seem secure... Wonder if there is an additional check like email address that happens when someone tries to redeem them at Gopher Sports.

Just bought two more. I used coupon code "15offls" for 15% off for anyone interested.

gophersports.com is still showing a few hundred tickets left in the 230-232 area. Maybe the site hasn't been updated? I noticed there were over 150 livingsocial tickets sold yesterday but maybe a lot of them were for Kent St.

I think the livingsocial tickets are blocked off on MyGopherSports, giving the impression more seats are sold than there are. For example, the outdoor club section I bought in was marked as sold out on MyGopherSports.

So if you buy in living social do you get the tickets immediately? Do people who have bought from there already have their tickets in hand?

The ticket office has to pick seats for you after you send in your vouchers or whatever, then emails the tickets out.

They have now cut the cost to $15!! 1,971 tickets sold.\

Edit: Only the Kent St game is left.

The U must think with a week left they can sell the rest of the upper deck seats for face value.
