Shooter: As Williams Arena approaches 100 years old, the University of Minnesota this week is about to discuss improvements for the Barn’s bathrooms.

I'm guessing that getting some restrooms in the upper deck of the The Barn by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is out of scope for this current improvement.

I would hope improvements made now would fit in with the scope of the master plan for remodeling the arena. If not, then just wait until the full remodel to do it rather than doing it twice.

"Master plan" - come on, this is Minnesota and Coyle. We good here just setting up time to "discuss restrooms" 20 years after they should have been upgraded.

Go Gophers!!

I'm all for the same approach to the barn I have with classic cars.

Keep the cool classic vibe, but upgrade some things & make it fun to drive.

100%. (I love the rest mods!) I would love to see them remodel the Barn with wider concourses and better stairwells. The sightlines in the Barn are amazing.

We aren’t winging it, we are seeing what happens

Totally agree. Keep the classic outside and make the inside brand new. Had a 1969 Chevelle convertible and that was my dream to do. Ended up selling it before I could really do anything.

Nah, let's just flush the money down the toilet.
