I don't think "Creaning" has much meaning in the free for all portal era. Players self-Crean these days.

It’s really just common sense and people shouldn’t have to spell this out for you.

Players will be more interested in the program if we have better coaching and are winning. There will also be more NIL funds if we have better coaching and are winning.

Right now, we have an embarrassingly terrible program that generates zero interest. There cannot be a worse scenario for generating interest and/or $$$.

So yes, the new coach will pay the players and he’ll likely have more money to do it (if they hire right).

This is really simple stuff. Just look at every program better than us, they’re easy to find.

Btw- you said battle was run off by Betts being dominant in practice. That was one of the dumbest things ever posted on any message board.

So instead of keeping Payne, Hawkins, & Christie (who was in the portal)...we should start all over.

I looked in to Crean a bit and he was arguably as bad at Georgia as Ben Johnson has been here. Georgia, as a program, has actually been as bad (or worse) than Minnesota since 2000 or so when you consider the SEC has been a weaker conference for much of that time. From '03 to the end of last year, Georgia only appeared in the AP top 25 one time (at 24) in 2010-11. Not finished the year in the top 25, just appeared in it!
