Somebody started this one last season, so I'm just continuing the tradition! The only decent memory about Iowa is that I got laid in Waterloo once!!!:clap::clap::clap::pig::pig::pig::clap::clap: Go Gophers!!!!!

I to have have gotten laid in the Cedar Valley, Does saying Cedar Falls isn't as trashing as Waterloo count as something nice

Interstate 35 leads from there into Minnesota.

Fine dining is at Casey's. Never order the "catch of the day" You'll be eating bullhead.

They produced Chad Greenway.

You can stop an Iowa fan from beating his wife by dressing her in maize and blue.

Next Sunday when I leave Iowa I'll be 20% of the way to Texas. The worst part of the trip will be over.

I also got laid in Des Moines one time! Iowa isn't all that bad! Really boring drive back to the
Twin Cities as well!! Go Gophers!! Gophers 28 Iowa 3!!!!!!!

I once purchased a bag of Old Dutch chips there on the way to Kansas City.

Drake University in Des Moines has a nice campus, and two of my best friends were educated there!

For being fat, their women don't sweat much.

If you're a Sprint Car fan, Knoxville Iowa is the Home of the Nationals. (and DL65).

Seriously, I lived in IA for 5 years in the 90's. I used to go watch Vikings games at this sports bar in West Des Moines (can't remember the name) - but the place had $1 chili dogs on Sunday. Can't beat that. Des Moines also has a nice minor league baseball stadium - home to the Iowa Cubs.

And if you're a wrestling fan, the Iowa State WR tournament is a great event. Whatever you might say about Iowans, they are huge wrestling fans. Two of the greatest fan reactions I've ever seen at a sporting event - watching race fans go bonkers when Richard Petty came to the Knoxville Nationals, and seeing wrestling fans go apes**t when Dan Gable showed up at the state WR tournament.

Oh - and I have to mention the Drake Relays - that stadium is a great place to watch a track meet.

Those are my positive Iowa Memories.

When I left Minnesota and moved to Iowa, the IQ of both states increased. Win for everyone!

They are the best in the Big Ten at having sex in disgusting stadium bathroom stalls.

Neither Christian Ponder or any of the Wilfs were born there.

Wakonda Country Club. Fantastic golf course, arguably one of the most difficult I have ever played.

The Boondocks near Williams, IA is my favorite truck top. Fortunately I no longer have any reason to drive down that barren stretch of I-35 so I haven't stopped there in years.

I was born in IA and have many family members still living there. I haven't been back for a visit since 1994...which tells you how much I like IA.

My uncle lived in Ames until he passed away. I've always liked that city.

I remember a song on A Prairie Home Companion: "Why Iowa?"

When the explorer Zebulon Pike came in 1805,
All his soldiers went on strike soon after they arrived.
It looked like a land no one would want,
windy and flat and wide.
Without a decent restaurant, they stood and cried?

Why Iowa, why Iowa?
We could have gone anywhere, why Iowa?
Why Iowa, why Iowa?
With all of the world to choose, why Iowa?

Now that should be the third quarter song for the Iowa game...

They have north-south and east-west freeways that allow one to traverse the state quickly without stopping.
