Guessing they had stadium surveillance video to work off of which may have painted a different picture than what we have all seen from the 20+ seconds of cell phone video that starts after the fighting is already underway. It is entirely possible that some of the players in the middle of it all were trying to break it up.

Letter leaves open the possibility of additional suspensions but clearly they saw enough to immediately suspend those 4 players, now the questions will be for how long and will there be any criminal charges pressed?

Nightmare season for Mel Tucker continues. Got the massive contract and the team has stunk on the field. Last thing he needed was something like this to pile on top of it all. Wonder if he finds himself on the hotseat before much longer. Assume his buyout is massive but there may be clauses in there for player behavior or something like that that the school could use. Just a complete disaster for that program coming off an 11-2 year.
