Fresh off of getting fully qualifying, Rodney Williams knows that hard work in the classroom and on the court pays off. Nadine Babu had a chance to talk with Rodney after a recent Howard Pulley League game, where he has been putting on a show all summer long with his freakish athleticism and defensive pressure.

I love Rodney's potential and athleticism. I was pretty worried when the reports came out earlier last year that he may struggle to get admitted so i give the kid a lot of ccredit for getting his act together.

What a week for you Nadine. interviews with both Bostick and Rodney as well as an amazing pictoral montage of TCF Bank Stadium? When do you have time to sleep!

Lol! Thanks for your kind words, but trust me, we're a team at GopherHole and for every interview I do, we've got a team that all contributes to getting these pieces up.

I had heard that Rodney was really 50-50 - so the fact that he raised his grades that much, and worked that hard, shows a lot of dedication and drive. I have a lot of respect for Rodney, and I think exhibiting that hard work in the classroom, will carry over to college academics, and the court.

i heard he had no chance of qualifying, he must have really hit the books. props to rodney.
