When is somebody over at the Strib going to write an article about how humiliating it is to have such lazy, predictable, stale columnists working for a major national newspaper?

How prestigious a bowl at the Vikings stadium is depends entirely on how much money is put up for the schools. More money and the next time bowl tie-ins are negotiated, the bowl can negotiate a better match up.

So do you use it to prepare for next season or celebrate the completed season, who gets the reps in practice and the majority of the playing time where a graduating senior started.

Missouri? I'd decline to play them after the Great Cave-In that their administration exhibited to ungrateful students and players whom they let control the campus.

As usual Reusse decides he needs to take a giant DUMP on Gopher football. That and at the same time tell everyone what to think and how lousy it is, that heavens forbid, the Gophers football team would accept a bowl bid if offered. Why not perpetuate the negative stereotype in this column if you can fling poop and pat yourself on the back like Reusse did by envoking Jules Perlt. That and not offering up the evidence that the Big 10 conference is going to require them to accept the bid, to do so because all bowl revenue is split equally in the conference and put in the same pot. Whether you agree with Reusse or not he is trying to tell you how to think or feel in this column. I don't think Reusse is going to be on Coach Claeys Christmas card list.

I don't know why his so pissed, or has his moobs in a ringer, it is a meaningless game in a slew of meaningless games outside of the National playoff and higher regarded traditional bowls. It's one more chance to play with your buddies and friends and have a nice vacation. It's not just the team that get's rewarded either, the support staff even if it is at a discounted rate, by the U get to participate too.
