Reports: Purdue fires coach Darrell Hazell after 3-3 start

Not sure how likley this is but if Bo could go to Purdue and beat Nebraska...ooh that would be sweet.

If he was to take the Purdue job I think they would re-work the NU buyout again, and he'd still get something.

I get the feeling that Bo is the type of guy who'd love to stick it to Nebraska on the field rather than make a few extra bucks.
That would be great.

By the end of the season could The State of Indiana complete a trifecta? Purdue, Notre Dame, & Indiana all looking for new coaches?

No. Brian Kelly is in year 1 of a 6-year extension. No way he gets fired. Indiana will win somewhere between 6 and 8 games and go to another bowl. Why would Indiana fire him when they're finally building some positive momentum?

Yup to both the above. That said, I'm guessing the NFL's Indiana franchise will be coach shopping this offseason...

Wilson won't get fired -- the defense is starting to catch up to the offense and things are looking really good at Indiana right now. But might he get hired away?

If Bo Pelini is interested in the Purdue job, they should be contacting him ASAP. I doubt they'll find a better coach.
