To the GopherHole Community,
As the board continues to grow and the season progresses, we are encountering a number of passionate issues that seem to cause great debate. While most of the threads offer great conversation and discourse, some do get out of hand. It's usually a vocal minority who ruin it for the rest of us. We ask that if there is an offensive post that you report the post to us, so that it is brought to our attention and we can take the appropriate actions. The message board offers an easy way to do this, and the instructions are listed below.
Another option that you may want to use is to ignore a poster. This will automatically hide the content of all of a particular user's posts, should you so choose.
Please see the instructions below for reporting posts and ignoring users if you are unsure how to do this.

Reporting a post
If there is a post that you think should be removed from the board you can report it to the moderators. Performing this action will send us an email with a link to the post. We will then review it and take any necessary action. Reporting a post is very simple:
Look for this icon:
It is located in the upper-right corner of every post. All you need to do is click on it.
After clicking on it you will be brought to the following screen. In the box, just specify why you think the post should be removed and click "Send Report"

Ignoring a user
When viewing a post from the person you'd like to ignore, first click on the user's name. When the drop-down menu appears, click on "View Public Profile"
Once the next page loads, click on "User Lists" and then select "Add to ignore list". After doing this, all of this user's posts will be hidden. If you wish to un-ignore someone in the future you can do this in the same spot.
