Wow. This thread is a testament to the fact that real reporters are dead and bloggers with websites are ruling the world. 
Clearly, anyone with any sort of opportunity at a real job with a decent income, wouldn't be blogging on a college football website about what may happen to a guy and his job, who at one time reached the pinnacle of his profession while being considered a decent guy, yet possibly being fired.
It must suck to have to realize that there's no opportunity cost for me to stop working and become a jock sniffing blogger, perpetuating rumors about someone losing their job, whether it's on longhorn.com or any other site.
