Emails were sent out today or you can call or renew online. See you this fall at TCF.

I'm wondering what folks think about the seat license fees this year? Not sure if it has been discussed on here yet? Could be good conversation.

Topic has been beat to death but the final numbers from this year will be interesting. Fees go up and the team took a step back on the field last year, not a great combo for getting the fan base fired up to renew their seats.

Seat license fees? First I've heard of it.

Paid off the tix and donation fee - Lets Go!

I think it is time I move to the club level.....

Not sure why the mandatory donations would surprise anyone. I think this year and the next two prices have been on the website for a while. I mean they don't like have to like it but the info was out there.

Either you have missed the sarcasm or I just missed yours. Can't decide which it is.

Isn't April 15 the deadline? Will probably have to give up one of three this year (after 38 years) and maybe the other two next year. The price per seat is almost tripling. The new AD should cancel next year's planned "donation" and keep prices as they are after two raises in two years.

FYI you can always down grade seats next year if it's to steep for you. Pay what you can this year and pay what you can afford next year.

True but I think for some longtime fans, this suggestion feels like a shot below the belt. Many fans were lured into buying season tickets under an old policy that rewarded loyalty (i.e., longevity) much more heavily than it does today. Today, it is mostly a function of how fat your wallet is which determines things. Flash back to pre-2009 and the picking of seats at TCF which was a crazy and fun thing where loyalty played a much more significant role in seat selection. Once people picked their seats, many (and perhaps naively) thought this is where I’ll be for the rest of my life. Of course we don’t live in a vacuum and the rules changed for good or for bad depending on your viewpoint. But for some of these fans who spent some years enduring gopher football in the dump-dome, they feel cheated and alienated by being told to go to the back of the bus.

Wait, you're not happy about the price increase?

That's adorable.

An organization wants to secure the maximum possible price it can get for a product?!?!?!? Shocking!!!!

did

did

did I get a tax form for my 2015 ticket "contribution"?

You're right. I mean this organization has a stellar track record when it comes to making good financial decisions. They have demonstrated it time and again over at least the last 50-years.

That would be a mistake. They should be trying to maximize profit. That is not always achieved by increasing prices. I have to assume they have some smart people making these decisions and this has all been considered. Sometimes when I see a third of the seats empty, however, it makes me wonder.

Sure, when you keep moving the goalposts, you're never going to be wrong. I wish that my debt was about 6% of my assets.

I thought this was a football thread but it looks like you moved the goalposts right out of the stadium.
