Matt Thomas, Ellenson brothers and Rashad Vaughn were all at the game today.

too bad they had to witness what the announcer called the dulliest everything has seen he by the home team this year in college basketball.

Waiting for Tubby to return to the court, the high school kids were all in good spirits after the game. They were about the only ones, though - the atmosphere as Tubby shook hands and said his hellos felt much like a wake. Somber city.

That is why the postgame is sponsored by Washburn- Mcreavy. Just so Gopher fans can have help dealing with their grief.

The fact that this was a conference game with key recruits in the building and neither Tubby nor his team could be bothered with showing up to give an effort says it all. If I was one of those kids, I would politely thank Tubby for the interest and then inform him that I didn't want to hear from him or his staff anymore.

My thoughts exactly. It's just one thing after another.

That is one ad that I as a school would not want to be a major sponsor. The sales department has to get a larger, less "deadly" image of who backs the U. We all know they do well in supporting the team, but why not Medtronic, Target, Best Buy, Graco, Ameriprize Financial, Xcel, Caribou Coffee, Gander Mountain, Ecolab, Patterson Companies, Anderson, Toro, Thermo King, etc. Anybody but the nice folks at Washburn-Mcreavy!
