Do we have any chance of keeping those 2028 girls home?
 


So far there are four local players with MN Offers for 2028:

Chloe Johnson, 6’0 PG, Duluth Marshall (ESPN- Terrific 25-#3)

Ari Peterson, 6’1 W, Minnetonka (ESPN-Terrific 25-#20)

Sahara Wilson, 6’2 P, Lakeville North (ESPN-Terrific 25-#23)

Logan Miller, 6’3 P, Andover HS

I would say Johnson and Peterson are highly unlikely to be Gophers. Various reasons but I see them going out of state and will have their pick of schools.

Now honestly, I feel they are great position to get Wilson or Miller. However, both are post players—different skillsets. However, my guess is Gophers will take one not both. So it might be a case of whichever of them takes the offer first.

I know you’re locked in to wbb recruiting. What are your other reasons other then being highly rated and having their pick of schools. Maybe they like the idea of playing at their home school in front of relatives and friends. At least I hope so,
