Quincy Avery: Drake Lindsey is so much better than anyone understands. I truly and honestly believe he's gonna be a Rd1 pick when it's all said & done

Drake Lindsey is going to be very good.
He will be the first Gopher QB drafted since the 1960's.

It's not a question of if he'll get drafted, it's a question of if he'll leave early and be a first round QB.

This is the best QB PJ's ever had (Now, not in 3 years).
Some thought he maybe should have won the job last year.

Our WR's will be very good.
I don't know how you look at Brockington and Loya and think this room doesn't have much experience in the Big Ten.

Loya ate Iowa alive last year. He has more WR experience beating Iowa than any group we've had.

When another Big Ten WR in Malachi Coleman is your #5 or #6 guy, we have a solid room that doesn't need to be questions. It's borderline embarrassing reading how afraid of success we are when it comes to having a potent offense for once.

Last year we were 134th out of 134 teams in explosive plays. (Plays of 30 yards from scrimmage or more). We have been under every year since Fleck arrived (2019 was right at the median).

Why?

QB play.

We have not had a QB this good and Drake will show other QB's we are a QB development program and QB's will want to come here.

Fans, we need to change our best.
We have guys like Bradley Martino who would have been fighting for a starting job in 2018-2019 who will have no shot of seeing the field this year.

The WR room is that much better than it's ever been here.
Nostradamus?

Lindsey is the perfect storm for us. He’s not going to be money hungry, IMO, and he has a lot of experience going into year 2 and we will likely have him 4 years and he’ll get better each year; health permitting.

Hope he stays, have to be able to pass, especially with West Coast teams now in the league.

I'd pay him priority over Darius Taylor or outgoing Koi Perich -- maybe why Perich is gone.

I don't think he is here for 3 more seasons. (1). If he plays like last year ... he will transfer because the offense is sabotaging him (2). If he lights it up he may go in the NFL draft after next year but for sure after his third season playing. (3) If he lights it up or plays better and if teams are offering $7M to $10M with better receivers...he's not staying.

To me...the NFL Draft or transferring will happen because either he's good or bad or staying the same.
This season is likely it as a Gopher. In addition, his roommate blazed a trail
