Great showings by the Section 2 Teams. Four state titles; Mayer Lutheran, Dassel-Cokato, Hutchinson and another with Mankato West.

Ha! When was the last time that Lakeville was a little outpost burb comparable to Northfield?

Must be the 1970's?

Actually spring of '93. Northfield ended the rivalry on a high note beating Lakeville even though they were #1 in AA and eventually won the Prep Bowl in '92. Northfield fell in the 1A Section Finals to Farmington that year.

Lakeville South got revenge their first year in existence, without Seniors they played 1 class down. I think that was '07.
