I just watched the highlights of Rutgers vs. Iowa. AK actually had a very good game. Lots of long downfield throws. Some open, some contested, mostly completed. The Iowa defense looked pretty human against Rutgers ... until the final Q. Iowa won in typical fashion; Kickoff returned 104 yards for a TD, punt returned 40 yards, Rutgers FG attempt in chip shot range blocked. Interception of course. One other thing: if Iowa gets inside the 10, it is a virtually certain touchdown because of Gronowski's legs. I don't think I've seen an Iowa -- Gopher game such as this, where every pundit, every single one--even the homers--a fairly certain of an Iowa victory, perhaps beating the spread. Nobody is giving the Gophers a chance--no upset alerts. Iowa's focus, determination, opportunism, and will to win ... plus Kirk's hex on PJ ... appear too much to overcome for all the pundits. This would make a Gopher victory all the more sweet. Go Gophers!
