This post didn't age well.Purdue is really fast and they had great escapes by their Quarterbacks. Gophers fought hard that game and prevailed. Tonight was fun not having to listen to go Big Red after first quarter. Gophers play tough, the cardiac kids were the more prepared domiant team. Raiola should not have taunted the Gopher student section, it's bad luck. Our coaches worked hard and Gophers were the much more prepared team. Looking forward to the Fight for Floyd.
Who cares? The team that rolled out Friday would’ve beaten Purdue by 30.This post didn't age well.
You mean the Purdue team that Northwestern shut out yesterday? The same Purdue team we gave up 256 yards rushing to that Northwestern held to 87? The same Purdue team that held us to 30 yards of rushing that Northwestern gained 232 yards on?
Yeah. Real monsters of the midway that Purdue team.
Purdue left a lot of points on the table, but we made plays when we needed to and came away with the "W." No need to apologize or justify it, just put it int eh win column, but you can't ignore we were in a tight game with a bad team that showed a lot of heart in the game.
Has somebody kidnapped your key board?I was one who thought the Huskers would prevail. One of the best Gopher victories in my 40+ years of watching Gopher football.
I have to admit the OL looked improved, but I still would replace the right tackle. The OL was winning the battle - reminiscent of a Gordy Shaw coached performance.
Where has Kinsbury been all season? The other LBS were absence some of the time.
Still could use some tackling drills, especially our cornerbacks.
Yup. How do we have a team ready to go consistently? Isn't that the job of the head coach?Who cares? The team that rolled out Friday would’ve beaten Purdue by 30.
