I hate this take. I'm not comparing us to OSU but when they beat people in a dominant fashion, we don't so "oh well they aren't very good so this doesn't tell us anything about how good they are." Beating conference opponents on the road in a dominant fashion says how good we are.

Yep...There is no doubt our non-conf schedule was soft and it may even be up for debate on how good MSU is. But what isn't up for debate is that we have absolutely throttled the 4 teams we have played so far. That is what really good teams do to bad teams.

Should I feel like after the Nystrom kick at PSU? Cause I kind of do.

It just occurred to me that most of our current roster, and a fair number of posters were not even born when “The Kick” occurred.

MSU is very bad. Great win, but it doesn't tell us how good we really are.
