POST GAME THREAD!!! Gophers Beat Badgers for 4th Time in 5 Years!!!

Minnesota played near error free, pretty impressive to me.
For a team who had been torched deep a lot this year it was impressive to avoid those slip-and-falls in a game like this that can give away huge plays

Love the W but I just don't understand why we can't come out against Iowa with this same type of energy as we always seem to have against Wisconsin.
We did last year. Couldn’t stop the run in the second half. I think they did come out with energy against Iowa. Just played poorly. I’m not sure Iowa could have played any better.

Said it in the game thread but it sure does make the season look a little brighter when you end it with a win against Wisconsin. Makes you forget about a lot of the headaches from the previous 3 months.

I still hope to someday have a 10–11 win regular season though and play in the playoff. I hope PJ can deliver it.
Got a get far better assistants before that happens.

I kept thinking Minnesota was running offensive plays to fit the snow (and stout interior D) the same way Wisconsin did vs Minnesota in 2019. It was dependent on the Gophs D, but both worked.

I didn't get to watch the entire second half, but did Geers injure himself celebrating and did he ever come back in?

They just beat a ranked Illinois and Washington

Take your horseshit attitude somewhere else
Calm down grandpa. I said I don’t think we played that well and we still beat them solidly. The weather was the only thing that let them keep it as close as it was. Learn to read

Great way to end the regular season! Beating Wisconsin (and handily)! 7-5 season. While I had higher hopes when the season began, 7-5 with a victory over the Badgers in the finale--the 4th out of a 5--is a good season. Looking forward to the Bowl Game. If it's in Nashville, we plan to make the trip!

It was good to see Taylor looking like he was getting more of his speed back and Ijeboi continues to impress me. Just need the offensive line to improve, because just a couple lanes open and those guys can easily make bigger plays.

It never gets old winning the Axe! Great to have a running game again. Nice to see Taylor running hard. Nestor was tremendous! I put the free knit hat to good use today. Really appreciate the hats I’ve gotten over the years. Snow U Mah!

Pretty sure he got hit in the groin and it started hurting after the snow angel and adrenaline wore off. He went back in

Speaking only for myself, I never experienced a delay between a hit in the groin and intense pain.

Countdown to people complaining about storming the field....
It's funny, as at the end of the Nebraska game, I blame the ushers and police posturing in front of the student section... basically daring them into doing it ! PS, I have no problem ever, with the students participating in ANY way they like.
