We should go for star rb from tcu Zach Evans so we can have two rbs from texas with the same name. That and he is really good.
Why would you be a hard pass on Benhart? Seems very strange for someone who cheers for the Gophers to not want a kid like that....Hard pass

He stinks. Why would you be a hard pass on Benhart? Seems very strange for someone who cheers for the Gophers to not want a kid like that....
A starting homegrown talent at a P5 program isn't wanted? Depth/competition is always needed and I'd take that in a heartbeat. We want to used 6 plus OL. Truth be told, I'd be surprised if he came here.Because he sucks?

Because he sucks?
Have you watched him play?
So?he's one of the top recruits out of the state of Minnesota
So?
He stinks as much as what he thought about his hometown state. He can stay down in Lincoln
Yep, if a guy like Benhart wanted to transfer in and the coaches felt they could fix his flaws and make him serviceable it would be worth the risk. He's got three years of eligibility left....he's one of the top recruits out of the state of Minnesota the last half dozen years. I would definitely take a chance on him.
Sounds good to me. That's a good place for himHe's a 20 year old kid playing for Nebraska....
Yeah, I guess I'd probably take him if Fleck thought he was better than what we have. I know I'd prefer Ersery than Benhardt. He was really bad at Nebraska. He's got three years of eligibility left....he's one of the top recruits out of the state of Minnesota the last half dozen years. Anyone know if he has played at all this year? I think Joe Alt is starting for them as a freshman.Would not mind Mr. Carroll. But have no idea if we would wnat to play closer to home.
Is it certain we lose Howden? I thought he had another (COVID) year. Did he walk on senior day?CB and NB seem like our clearest needs for the portal this off-season. We lose Durr, Howden, Harris and maybe TSmith. I don’t think anyone besides Wally even got reps at those spots, so seems like Stapp is worth a shot.
Anyone know who internally is “next up” at those spots?
Recently had a DUI?Profile as a recruit.
Yes, he has "only" played in four seasons, so he would be allowed to come back for 2022 if he wanted it.Is it certain we lose Howden? I thought he had another (COVID) year. Did he walk on senior day?
I think PJ and Rossi would want him back … need experience in what could be a young secondary next year. Question for me is whether Terrell Smith stays for Coney Durr’s spot.Yes, he has "only" played in four seasons, so he would be allowed to come back for 2022 if he wanted it.

4.45 40 per his introIn high school he was a track star. Takes an INT 97 yards to the house in the first clip of the highlight reel.
Sign Stapp up, we will take him if he wants to be a Gopher!More Stapp video. I could let myself get excited about this guy. Look at this kid run and hit. The coaches must think he can run at this level. What’s not to like?
Agreed, I would be happy if Quinn Carrol decided to be a Gopher. Bryce Benhart and his dad can go pound sand.Have you watched him play?
Ortiz as well, though might be nickle for Harris.I think PJ and Rossi would want him back … need experience in what could be a young secondary next year. Question for me is whether Terrell Smith stays for Coney Durr’s spot.
I saw him on the line for XP and FG.Anyone know if he has played at all this year? I think Mark Alt is starting for them as a freshman.

I have no idea where I got Mark from, haha. Thanks for the correction.Joe Alt is starting for them as a true freshman. Carroll is a backup.
It's about Jerry Kill and Tracy Claeys, right? It is probably not a good idea for us to have a thread titled Portal. Then everyone is going to know about it.
