Player development and next year

We sort of tried a PG by committee once Al went down, and we all know how that worked out. If we don't land a JUCO PG, hand the keys to Andre Hollins, give him 30-35min a night and let him learn on the job.

I would love to see one good prospect handle a lot of minutes at the position, as well. But, that probably won't happen once we start losing a few games with the approach. Tubby will be under too much pressure to produce. I will be more prudent of him to develop contingency plans to move the ball up and set up the offense. To me, the route requires a couple of guys getting about equal minutes at the position while an off-guard chips in to reduce the pressure on the ball. That is what I meant by committee. Regardless of getting a Juco PG, it could be a safer choice for Tubby IMO.
