Gophers football coach PJ Fleck, Lynx legend Lindsay Whalen and singer Dessa are among a list of leaders tapped to act as COVID-19 vaccine ambassadors for the state of Minnesota.

According to the governor's office, these local leaders will be spreading the word about the importance of getting vaccinated through texts, calls and emails. Here's a list of those participating:
  • Pat Baustian, Mayor of Luverne
  • Ben Schierer, Mayor of Fergus Falls
  • Dessa, Singer, rapper, and writer
  • PJ Fleck, Head Football Coach at University of Minnesota
  • Beth Ford, President and CEO of Land O’Lakes
  • Dr. Daniel Grossman, CMO of Best Buy and Emergency Medicine Physician
  • Dr. Josie Johnson, civil rights activist
  • Ben Schierer, Mayor of Fergus Falls
  • Lindsay Whalen, Head Women's Basketball Coach at University of Minnesota

Whether vaccines are BS depends on individual factors, generally they are BS when they have yet to be approved by the FDA while concurrently being pushed to people who have a ZERO chance of death through guilt...I tend to call that propaganda. Anyways, I don't feel guilty, leave me alone, get one if you want, don't lecture me, I won't lecture others. It is an individual choice.

Trump pushed Operation Warp Speed to allow for the development of vaccines in record time and for the FDA to authorize their emergency use. He understood that the vaccine is not for the individual taking it but for those who that person might encounter in their life who might be at risk.

I don't buy into collectivism. No thanks. Get the vaccine if you want. I will not be getting it. Other people are not my responsibility. And if I were to get the vaccine it would be for my benefit not for others...that is the point of it.

It is not a lecture about vaccines it is giving context to the fact, FACT, people are willingly taking part in propaganda. It is a lecture about not taking part in propaganda... not about choosing for yourself to get vaccinated or not. You're welcome!

People are only taking part in propaganda if they THINK it's propaganda. Not fact, not everyone does. That's FACT.

Anyway, after reading your post again closely I was able to infer you were talking about lecturing about getting vaccinated but it wasn't very explicit. If you want to avoid arguments about minutiae in the future you could be clearer. Or maybe you like to argue about petty details. If so, you do you. I will concede.

Propaganda is propaganda and isn't department on what the people pushing it think is factual.

I also did make it clear I didn't care if people get vaccinated, so respectfully, originally, you didn't make the correct inference, but we are on the same page now.

Yeah we get it. You only made your initial post knowing nobody else would comment and you wouldn’t have to lecture us. It’s nice to know you don’t care about anyone but yourself.

Are you a complete anti-vaxxer or just for COVID? Should people have been given the choice to not take the polio or smallpox shot? Or, more recently, diptheria, pertussis, and tetanus (DPT) or measles, mumps, and rubella? Just curious.

Why do we have to push agendas... I don't care if you got the vax, I don't care if you didn't. It's your personal choice and I have zero, and I mean zero control or say in what you do. A vaccine is meant to help you not me. If you feel you need or want it.. by all means go ahead... If you don't.. well don't...
