Pierce Petersohn to announce tomorrow!!!

He's not wrong on every point, but thanks for your insight.
We didn't recruit him as a TE, and he won't be moved up recruiting rankings because he picked PSU.
But thanks for your insight.

We didn't recruit him as a TE; he might move up in the recruiting rankings; Voss was ranked higher, he is 225 and likely will be a better player. Again, he was not wrong on all points.

Someone on the Triton staff told me Penn State offered a lot more money. Also Penn State showed up in person more often than MN.

My cousins went to Penn State. Having been there all I can say is State College, the campus, and Beaver Stadium are way overrated. That has nothing to do with his decision. It is in the middle of nowhere. It is redneck Appalachia.

Just went through old HS classes to see how other TEs in the state have panned out. What hurt the most was seeing other guys end up at schools close to hear and start/get drafted….

Either way going back to the 2018 class there hasn’t really been a precedent set by MN TEs. Obviously 18 had BSF who was solid enough to get drafted but didn’t quite reach that ceiling in his CFB time. Still one of the best recent TEs from the state. The only other two to really talk about are Sam Peters (us) and Chase Andorff (Neb). Both mid 3 star guys but with decent size and upside. Neither are near the top of their respective position group at this time.

Obviously a direct comparison to Voss/Petersohn can’t be made. They’re both rated considerably higher than the aforementioned TEs and have different size/ability. More so just to highlight how crazy having to 2 4 star TEs in one class is for us. If they both reach their ceilings it’ll be a historic local class.
