As I have a full day on Monday of this week, I decided to post this thread a little earlier.

Many pickers had cramps this past week! NO ONE predicted the winners of all 4 games. 12 individuals picked 3 games correctly. Naturally the Gopher game messed up many predictions. Sometimes it’s hard not to pick the Gophers out of loyalty. Perhaps as to not deal with this issue in the future, perhaps I should remove the Gophers (survey below picks). Huge can of worms with this one I realize. Perhaps I shouldn’t have suggested it. But I did. Due to trolls etc., commissioner will rule in the end. Meanwhile I did remove the Gophers this week due to the spread and added a game that some of you may enjoy.

Meanwhile the current leaderboard is as follows with many on their heels.

I like the inclusion of the Gophers, but that's just one opinion.

Keep the Gophers. you pick at your own risk and that's ok. it's for fun. Keep them in every week despite the spread.

This week
Auburn Tigers at Texas A & M Aggies; 2 teams that are really hard to read so far.

Florida State Seminoles at Clemson Tigers; last week's look ahead game leads to better focus this week. this line will be one of my plays this week if it stays at FSU -1.5 and Travis is fully healthy

Georgia Southern Eagles at Ball State Cardinals; hopefully Brin doesn't turn it over 6 times again

Ole Miss Rebels at Alabama Crimson Tide; Bama has no QB and Ole Miss has a decent one. this will also be one of my plays with the line Ole Miss +6.5

Regarding the Gophers, since there’s already a weekly score-predicting thread, it seems to me that having the Gophers in this thread is redundant, and repeating itself, and doing the same thing over and over.

I’m not too worked up about it, though, so I’d be fine either way - like Billy Martin once said in a Lite Beer commercial, I’m not the type of person to get into an argument.

I like the Gophers in there...that said, occasionally leaving them out like this week when there is a big points spread is a good thing.

No, I like having the gophers in the list typically only when they’re in a big game or with a low spread though.

One idea I’d like to share, if you’re open/interested in ideas, is that to add “confidence” points to each pickem. Like each of the 4 games can be assigned 1/2/3/4 points based on how confident the poster is. That way there can be more movement and the ability for people to catch up in the standings.

I appreciate everything you do already and feel free to completely discard the idea if it adds to much to everything you’re already doing!
