Durr has been working hard. He’s pretty active in promoting the program.
If what his statements have said about his level of commitment are true, he has to be here.Perich might just be that kid that puts the Gopher hat next to tOSU hat next Wednesday and picks the Maroon and Gold.
The buccaneers play the packers this week at Lambeau so he will be close by.Looks like we are making one last ditch effort to keep him home.....Where do the bucs play this weekend? Lets fly winfield in and seal the deal

Don't believe they will hire a new DC until after the Bowl Game. They may split defense pass coordinator and run between 2 existing Coaches.I imagine the DC hire happens before then so that they can bring him in as well to try to convince koi to stay

I think we all expected Pretzel to leave for a while now. I’m still holding out hope for Perich.Didn't take long...of the 3 only Perich is still standing.
Yes, at least get him on Zoom. Had the same decision a few years ago, stayed home, played as a freshman, part of a group that took the team to new heights, and is now in the NFL.Fly in Coughlin.
You might be using the wrong metrics. A flip to USC seems somebody with the 18th ranked class in the country thinks he is something significantly more than average.Pretzlaff just finished an official visit to Michigan State and is from Michigan so not surprised by his flip at all. Abasiri is fifth ranked in MN and a very average recruit for us at a 3-star 87 so not that big a deal. We still have 6 of the top 11 recruits in the state according to 247. I think that's still better than our resent in-state history. Doesn't it makes sense we'd get on recruits earlier in our home state and then lose some as teams nationally push up their interest as we approach the recruiting deadline and they fill out holes in their classes. Hopefully, PJ does the same.
My general point was it's not hard to believe some guys are getting late interest and we are losing them. You might be using the wrong metrics. A flip to USC seems somebody with the 18th ranked class in the country thinks he is something significantly more than average.
Yup always a push before signing periods. My general point was it's not hard to believe some guys are getting late interest and we are losing them.
So either you believe this and you believe that USC has gone insane, or you know this is pure BS and he’s a way bigger deal than that.Abasiri is fifth ranked in MN and a very average recruit for us at a 3-star 87 so not that big a deal.
That’s just a quote from The Sandlot (1993)This has got to be good news
That’s what GI is saying?Feeling very good about Perich.
It's actually more like only 2 hours from Esko to Minneapolis.Lets war game the Perich situation.
He goes to the Gophers. Parents drive 4-5 hours down to watch home games, along with other family members. Travel to away games. Probably gets playing time from the get go, at least on special teams. Student athlete pays for his parents hotel/meals out of his nominal NIL. Great educational and employment opportunities in the home state, particularly if he doesn't go NFL.
He goes to Buckeyes. Parents drive 15 hours down to Columbus or fly from Duluth or MSP to Columbus. Other family members??? Travel to away games in PA, West Coast, East Coast. Open question if he gets any playing time from the get go as the Bucs are rich in safeties. Student athlete pays for his parents hotel/meals out of his richer than MN NIL. Good institution but ??? about employment in Ohio if he doesn't go NFL.
If he has questions, communicate with Cashman and Coughlin before the 20th.
Or it got late in the cycle and USC had to fill holes in its recruiting class by taking lower ranked guys. Or…. None of us really know.So either you believe this and you believe that USC has gone insane, or you know this is pure BS and he’s a way bigger deal than that.
From … Minnesota??Or it got late in the cycle and USC had to fill holes in its recruiting class by taking lower ranked guys.
I guess time will tell. Let’s see if he ever gets off the bench. He may be back anyway! Of course, we may no longer want him then. Recruiting is very imprecise. Glad he’s excited to catch some SoCal rays. From … Minnesota??
How many 3* are there in Cali that they could’ve had?
Right now, there's almost no non-committed recruits in California that are ranked as high or higher than him. There aren't many DL in general ranked higher than Abasiri, committed or not committed. From … Minnesota??

Agreed, people are making this seem like USC singled out abisiri as a "must get" prospect. What likely happened is the coaches told an intern "we need a DLineman". Intern goes on a recruiting site and sees who is uncommitted or who they could flip. Intern contacts 20-30 of those prospects he found and sees who is interested. After finding out who is interested, the coaches "maybe" watch a little tape then offer him saying he needs to visit to make the offer official. He visits, and USC makes him feel special and tell him they wanted him this whole time. Abisiri buys what they say and commits. Then he will get a ratings bump because he committed to a helmet school. The recruiting sites make more money when the helmet schools are ranked higher in the team rankings because their fan bases are larger and buy the most subscriptions.Or it got late in the cycle and USC had to fill holes in its recruiting class by taking lower ranked guys.
