I feel pretty confident that, however this all shakes out, there will be few football teams in the country better prepared to embrace whatever the new normal will be.

This is the most "human" crisis in this nation since at least 1918. Even the world wars took place on other continents, contested by a relatively small group of the population. It needs a more empathetic and motivational approach than we have now.
