At least Penn State doesn't look good.

Northern Illinois in a shoot out with Ohio State to see who can score more. Right now tied at 49.

I can only hope the neighborhood groups, those in charge of the pre game experience, or those of you looking for tailgating ideas turn into the Greatest Cocktail Party. TV doesn't do it justice.

Iowa gets to the red zone and is held to a field goal AGAIN. Where was our D on homecoming day?

Illinois is the 103rd ranked defense in terms of PPG in the country. Penn State has put up 14 points through 12:46 of the 4th quarter. I feel like Penn State needs to be looked at as a "should win."

Let's take it one game at a time. They also beat Michigan.

Also, what sticks out to me from the highlights of NIU at UMass is: how it must feel to play your home games in a cavernous, empty Gillette Stadium. I imagine the exciting novelty of playing in a significant NFL stadium after... about a half?

Their "home stadium" is two hours away. Stupid.

Illinois was down 14-10 w/ 4th and 1 near the goalline earlier. I thought they should've kicked the FG. Now it's 14-10, and Illinois is in field goal range.. first and second down they take endzone shots. Near the goalline, I disagreed, but I get it. Now they're just shooting themselves in the foot. You were driving. Keep driving.

And Illinois converts 3rd and 10. Guess I'll eat my words that time.

Ruddock serves another big fat Int to allow 'sconnie to start a drive in field goal range.

On the one hand, I like the idea of an Illinois win, because it tells me Penn State isn't very good. On the other, I don't like the idea of an angry PSU team coming to MN with something to prove.

That roughing the passer call on Penn State.............weak

My thoughts exactly.

Nice catch by Robinson. We'll have our hands full with him.

Wow, PSU fumbled near the goalline, Illinois recovers.

Love to see MSU do well, bummer that they'll likely be 7-0 BT when we play them. Maybe if that's the case we catch them sleeping or looking ahead to OSU and we win. But yeah, they are sorely under-rated. The Notre Dame game had 2+ poorly called PIs against Sparty that were game changers.

Looking like an MSU/OSU title game this year. Really cannot see how anything else could occur.

Big time game for our conference standings right now as Nebraska and Northwestern are tied. If Nebraska loses, we move into 5th place in the Big Ten.

OH. MY. GOD. WHAT JUST HAPPENED IN LINCOLN?!?!
