Illinois is the 103rd ranked defense in terms of PPG in the country. Penn State has put up 14 points through 12:46 of the 4th quarter. I feel like Penn State needs to be looked at as a "should win."
Also, what sticks out to me from the highlights of NIU at UMass is: how it must feel to play your home games in a cavernous, empty Gillette Stadium. I imagine the exciting novelty of playing in a significant NFL stadium after... about a half?

On the one hand, I like the idea of an Illinois win, because it tells me Penn State isn't very good. On the other, I don't like the idea of an angry PSU team coming to MN with something to prove.
