Other Bowl Games Thread

I'm not much for conference pride.....but it's nice to see OSU taking an SEC team to the woodshed early. Especially considering how much the announcers were shitting on Indiana last night.

After the Michigan game, I think OSU plans to keep scoring all night long. I could see them getting to 50+

I don’t believe in conference pride. I do believe that the SEC SEC fans are annoying

Yeah....I am all for Ohio State running it up big time tonight.
If Clemson could’ve completed the comeback and then this happened.

There would be a realistic argument the team that should’ve been in over SMU was Illinois

I don't think that's an interception but hard to overturn.

Penalty in the nfl every time but yeah I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in the college game
Tough part is he was engaged with the o-lineman so he didn't have another way to tackle.

I don't think it is even in the NFL.....he's got him wrapped up as he's throwing the ball. He doesn't keep his arms wrapped around him. D-lineman braces himself on the tackle...BS call.

And the reason they went down hard was falling over another player

It is for body weight. He lands directly on top of him. Though I think it was much because of the lineman blocking him through

Iamaleava playing with a hell of a lot of heart which at least has made this somewhat interesting

I get these games have been lopsided but I don’t think anyone outside of the CFP bracket would have done much better. It’s a clear difference in play from the top 5/6 and everyone else.

Bama/Ole Miss looked like crap against average teams. Could they have taken on PSU at home in the cold? Could Miami/SCAR have gotten through Texas?

The media is going to rag on the teams getting blown out and push narratives but the best AND most deserving teams got in. It’s just clear the elite level of CFB exists and may even be stronger. It’s just that the “B” teams get a shot at the top dogs.

I have loved every second of this CFP so far and the next two rounds will be even better. Happy holidays and if you meet and SEC fan tell them to STFU.

That likely TD the refs took away from OSU and the iffy roughing the passer call are the difference in the game now.

Considering Tennessee was shut out in the first half of three games this year , Far from over.
