Other Bowl Games Thread - 2019 College Bowl Season Edition

The bowl game has had less attendance since the move to the 49ers stadium at the south of the bay, as opposed to when it was in the Giants stadium in SF.

We're locked into the game through 2025. Would like to see them get out of that game in favor of a bowl game with PAC in the new LA Rams/Charger stadium.
 

Navy wins and the Big 12 still hasn't won a bowl game.
 

Anyone else think Utah is getting the short end of the stick from the refs? There were 2 hits I thought were targeting that weren't even reviewed plus lots of other questionable calls.
 

Utah goes from knocking on the Rose Bowl door to getting utterly humiliated by a very average Texas team on New Year's Eve in the Alamo Bowl.
This is why I don't bet bowl games.
 

I didn't watch much of the game, admittedly ... but the little I did watch of Utah vs Texas .... my reaction was "this team was almost in the CFP??? Is the PAC that bad??"

Granted, Cal did embarrass Illinois earlier.
 


F'ck. Wiscy looks better than Oregon. Pac12 sucks balls this year.
 


Wisconsin, despite a few turnovers, looking very solid against Oregon. Their D has been stout

Wisconsin trying to give the game away. Fumbles, interceptions. Getting chippy. Going to have a fight.
 

Cannot believe they just turned it over a 4th time in their own territory
 





MN boy Drayton Carlberg (DeLaSalle) gets a ton of playing time at DT for Oregon.
 

Wisconsin is having some bad luck.
Punter dropped the ball for easy 6 for Oregon.

Evidently, on some first down runs, WI has been called for holding.

They have 4 total turnovers.

Can't seem to hit a pass downfield.

WI's best performance this year was against us, and first half vs OSU.
 





Wisconsin is the better team here, would love to see them lose though.
 


Oregon looks like crap, and WI playing their second worst game of the year.
 

Oregon playing hard as hell. Hoping praying they can beat the damn cheesers.
 


On the one hand, I want the B1G to clean up in bowl games. On the other, a 4 game losing streak in Rose Bowl's for Becky is great.

Ticky tack call but count me among those that aren’t crying over a Wisconsin team being on the wrong side of that. As it goes, have to be good enough to not leave it up to the officials. Wisconsin was not good enough.

What a day. It has seen a resounding underdog win over the SEC and Sconnie going down in flames.
 

Wisconsin has had it pretty good the last 10 years, but at least we haven't spent a bunch of money on 4 rose bowl trips trying to see a win.
