Averaged 1.1apg in 22.7mpg, so at least how he was used at Oregon it would appear he was not a primary ball handler/distributer. Don't know anything about his game, however.247 has him listed as a PG, he will at least be a combo guard. Really fills a need.
We might be looking at Asuma, Mitchell and Rigsby as a PG committee.247 has him listed as a PG, he will at least be a combo guard. Really fills a need.
Seems like a springy, athletic energy type guy. Definitely not someone you want as the primary tho. They’re still on the lookout for that roster holeAveraged 1.1apg in 22.7mpg, so at least how he was used at Oregon it would appear he was not a primary ball handler/distributer. Edit: looking at his (Junior years) stats, they are remarkably similar to Braeden Carrington's freshman year.
I doubt he is a bench player unless Christie comes back.We need at bench … at minimum.
Exactly. Our administration tells Coyle to spoon-feed us...and we love it.If you're hungry, you'll eat anything.
Point taken, but obviously depends on Asuma’s readiness and whether Cam comes back. Would be great to (finally) have a 8-9 man rotation.I doubt he is a bench player unless Christie comes back.
Ben has a history of signing transfer players and playing them more minutes than they got at their previous school, even when it was a lower level.
I doubt a guy who played 23 mpg for an NCAA team who has more NIL than us is coming for a lateral move or decreased role. I’m guessing he ends up playing closer to 30 minutes a game.
Would be great to (finally) have a 8-9 man rotation.
You are assuming this is the replacement for Hawkins, as though this is the final kid we’re getting from the portal. Sure hope not!So we swapped junior guards.
Downgraded 9.5 points to 6.1.
7.5 assists to 1.1.
Downgraded 3pt% and FT%.
But at least Coyle did his job and pacified the fan-base.
Me too! We certainly don’t have it yet, nor did we have it last year.Certainly would but I'll believe it when I see it.
Not super exciting stats wise, but he played 20+ mpg on a really good team.
We need bodies and guards badly. Certainly looks like a quality bench piece add for us...

Hopefully he's a very good defensive player. The history doesn't indicate that he's likely to be a big scorer.
Already excited for next year!!Point taken, but obviously depends on Asuma’s readiness and whether Cam comes back. Would be great to (finally) have a 8-9 man rotation.
I agree, this is gonna be a lot like his first year team!So we swapped junior guards.
