Dear GopherHole Community,

We are starting our 2022 GopherHole Donation Drive, our first formal donation drive in 3 years! The donations help fund the site as well as compensate our hard working reporters including Nadine Babu, Tony Liebert, Jared Hines, Noel Tompson and others. And your donations help keep GopherHole 100% FREE!

Anyone who donates $100 or more your ads will be turned off while you are logged in to the message boards through November 30, 2023. If you've already donated $100+ during 2022, you will remain ad free through 11/23.

You can donate through Venmo @Gopher-Hole or at PayPal below. Or if you would like to send us a check, please e-mail [email protected] and we will give you our address. When you donate please include your GH username.

Anyone who donates $50+ will be entered in a drawing of signed Gopher items, including a signed Gopher football by legendary players including Marion Barber III, Laurence Maroney, Carl Eller and others!

Wait, do those of us donated $100+ get any drawings for a signed football?

Should be the other way around, no?

$50+ = ad free
$100+ = ad free AND drawing for signed memorabilia

OR

$100+ = ad free
$250+ = ad free AND drawing for signed memorabilia

Not sure why you’re giving people donating less an opportunity for some goodies while those donated more just ad free?

The text of the donation reads, “Anyone who donates $50+ will be entered in a drawing of signed Gopher items.”

I take this to mean anyone donating $50 or more will be entered in the drawing.

I was going to make a Venmo donation. But it's asking for the last four digits of of your phone # . What are they ?

You can skip that verfication by clicking the button just below it that say ssomething like "donate without verifying" or something. If you see the picture of the Gopher as their avatar, it's the right one.

For those on the fence, let me just tell you that having ads removed is BLISS! Pages load so much faster and those annoying ads that were getting in the way of replies are obviously gone. Do it!

Can you donate a little something extra for certain posters to have like double and triple ads?

Do we know when winners will be announced? How many prizes are there? How many entries, etc.?
