Only an Iowa fan could work the Cooper DeJean non-fair-catch argument into his obituary.

Amusing but also a little surprising this would even be a thing to make a funny about, I honestly wouldn’t expect it to be that big a deal.

Well played nonetheless.

Honestly the obit isn’t wrong
It wasn’t a fair catch, that’s why they blew it dead without assessing a penalty on anyone

Kind of shows that this guy/family don't have much of a life when they put a statement like that in an obit. To me, this is pretty stupid.

Imagine the last description of you highlighting the fact you were completely ignorant of something you had so much passion about.
It's not the "last" but ....

You described social media in a nutshell there and people enthusiastically participate .....

Everytime I think I am a big Gopher fan I am reminded that my love is nothing compared to some people's lives to their favorite thing to do. I think in my obituary it would maybe say 'one of my favorite activities was attending Gopher football games' but couldn't imagine it going much deeper than that.

My love of the Gophers in no way is nearly as close to my love for family.

The most interesting piece of this obituary is the mention of Little Delhi, Iowa. As I currently reside in the more well known Delhi, I was curious about what these two municipalities share in common-turns out, not much! The entire population of Delhi, IA (last count, 420) would be equivalent to a modest apartment complex in the other Delhi. It looks like you can get pizza in both locales though, so there’s a common thread.
