OLD MUSIC

I'd never heard this. Very cool exchange and answer from Freddie Mercury.

I always love hearing truly great people offer their opinion on who THEY think is truly great or elite at their craft. Always incredibly insightful

I'm a big fan of the Eels, and it just happened that Steve Perry turned up at the concert.

The Smithereens / Blood and Roses

One of the best bass lines ever.

Here's some marvelous CSNY footage of what's actually actually a Stills solo tune, although Crosby & Nash lended backing vocals originally. The studio version is one of my favorite songs ever by anyone in the quartet, but this live version elevates it even further. They shred, and Young isn't even wielding an axe.

Live at Wembley Stadium, Love the One You're With

Interesting clip here with the Buffalo Springfield. Intro by Flip Wilson.

Rock & Roll Woman

I have to admit, this is exactly how I feel. Never really liked U2 and never really knew anyone that did.

I've thought U2 was great going back to Boy.

Still think they are great as do the over half million fans I have attended shows with over 4 decades. That includes the 50,000 at TCF Bank Stadium in 2011 which was one of the coolest musical experiences I have had.

I hope they are not done touring, especially if Larry Mullen Jr recovers from his physical health issues.
