Some still won't put them on, but a lot will.

50k t-shirts. That's a damn nice order for some local print shop. Ask for $1 per shirt pricing. Probably cost 5 cents per shirt actual cost

This has never worked to date and don't expect it now. Maroon is the preferred color for most fans, not gold. The Billds have both and will comply.

That offered, put on top our colored empty seats, an 11 AM start, and just general not caring and this will end up lame.

The University literally announced it at the game, have promoted it on their social media, have now emailed season ticket holders. FFS, what do you want them to do? Maybe they can bring you a gold shirt and supply a limo for you to get to the game with a special escort to your seat just to make sure you comply?

Why are you so bothered by this?

People in Iowa, West Virginia, Oklahoma, and Tennessee can figure this out. Apparently, we are too stupid and stubborn in Minnesota.

When was it attempted?? I remember a gold out for a wisconsin game a back when I was still in school...probably early 2010s. It was poor because 1) wisconsin red and 2) it was raining (not a lot of people have gold rain gear).

Didn't they encourage people to wear maroon for the PSU game?? That was pretty successful without a ton of effort.

I cannot be THAT difficult to pull off. Keep doing it annually (at least) and people will figure it out.

Pretty sure we've tried a couple of gold outs over the history of TCF. I think we were supposed to be maroon for the 2019 PSU game but it was so late in the season people were wearing regular winter coats, camos, and everything.

We can do full maroon outfits from Labor Day to Thanksgiving...can't say entirely the same for gold attire. Our rain suits are anthracite so we've got that going for us when the weather is wet or snowy.

I like Pharmacy however the idea of one game a year. Don't know if homecoming is the right one...maybe 1st home game in November given how HC moves around?

Finally, it's really not all on the fans...the marketing folks are abysmal up to this point. Hoping Purdue will be the start...

See, if folks would just practice a little bit of patience instead of immediately complaining that "this hasn't been communicated" (cough cough Some guy cough cough) when the game is literally in 13 days maybe we'd all have a little less stress in our lives.
