Every person with a pulse knew this hire was a failure from at least the middle of season 2. Everyone.

And yet here we are, thumbs up our collective asses, waiting out another failed season for the inevitable firing that every single person knew was coming for at least 2 years.

And there's STILL people blatherong on and on about why he should still be here. They're lying to us. And lying to themselves. They're not that brainless.

I feel the same. The confidence is just completely shot through the players and the coaching staff. Clear inexperience in the staff.

These players aren't great, but we're getting about the least we can out of this group.

There's just nothing about this that works right now.
 


C'mon guys....we ALMOST scored 20 in the first half....don't be a bunch of Debbie Downers!

I love the concepts....run your offense through Parker Fox at the top of the key....he's a multi-faceted offensive weapon from there. He's just saving his 3 point shot for the B10 season.
 





Is it too late to petition the Big Ten to put all of our remaining games on BTN+?

Somebody not named Garcia better find an offensive game soon.....really tough to watch.

There is no system to be confident in. It all is based on individuals. Last year we had a guy who could break people down by himself. Now we don't.
 


Feels like 5 old dudes from the Y run a better offense than what we put out there right now

Even people with maroon and gold glasses were at least very skeptical of the hire.

Actually, Garcia has been fairly awful in this game. Rigsby is the leading scorer with 8.

On the plus side, Fox makes more sense at the spot than Payne did. Fox could potentially get to the rim from there on a dribble drive. You cheered when Payne safely got it to a teammate from there.
 


I think I heard an individual fan clapping after Rigsbys 3.
 

It’s time for a new coach, and maybe should be sometime during the year. Sell people hope that they’re investing in a program that is going to try in the future with a new hire. When Monson was let go, there was more buzz and interest because people could talk about the future. All that said, Coyle hasn’t shown a lot in his hiring in basketball or any sport. He let Ben talk him into the job without even talking with a number of high quality candidates who were interested.
