I just booked my hotel room on the strip....I will be at my first Gophers game in the past 10 years. Last game was home game vs Buffalo in 2002 and before that, the Sun Bowl....I don't get to see many games because my career has kept me overseas mostly, but I recently moved to Salt Lake City. Great weekend for sports gambling on the strip...I'm hawkish on the Gophers -8.5 and several others. Hope to see some of you out there.
 

We're in section 105 as well!

Farmboy, my group of four is also in section 105, and row 36 sounds very close as well (my buddy in Colorado has our tickets, so I'm not exactly sure which row).

Anyway, since you're flying out of Sioux Falls, am I safe to assume U R from SW Minny? All four in my group heading out to Vegas hail from that area originally. Regardless of where you're from, we looking forward to meeting our fellow Gopher fans in the 105!

Everyone in 105 and the rest of the stadium...you all can be any part of the SKI U MAH or every part of it. Bottom line is...we have to get this going. It will be started in the Star Fields Tailgate Lot. If your group hears someone yell SKI!!!!! then you should be yelling U!!!!! If you hear the U, you should yell MAH!!!!!
If we manage to get this going there and take it into the stadium then the non gopherholers will start to understand what is going on and it will make it more successful on the inside. If it is successful on the inside then people will hear it on TV at home. If they hear it on TV at home then they will remember it at the game next week in TCF.
Wishful thinking? One can hope can't they?

I spoke with a Ticket agent today and she told me I was better off just buying at the South Side Box Office the day of the game. Buying your ticket online or reserving it over the phone is going cost you roughly 60.00....Buying at the box office just 35.00.

I'm up for this is there are 2 other vehicles that would like to join me. I already messaged outstandingcoffee and yadat but time is probably of the essence for ephgopher so anyone interested message me asap. I've got epgopher's phone #. Would be nice, bigger space and less money and we'd all be together!

We'll be leaving Park City at about 8:00am Wed. We'll be the ones on I-15 doing 80 mph in a maroon F150 with a U of M decal in the back window.

In case you or anyone else is in need of a pair of tickets, our group ended up with 2 extras. If you decide you want them, the face value is $40 each but we can work out some kind of a deal. I'd rather help out a fellow fan than eat a pair of tickets. I have 2 blocks so you can have your choice of section 105 (in the Minnesota section) or section 107 (50 yard line). Checked into the Mirage today with my wife. It hit 104 today, and actually felt pretty nice. Hot but nice, due to relative humidity of only 7%. Forecast is 104 tomorrow, 103 Wednesday, and 101 on game day, with a slight uptick in humidity by then. The boys will be just fine. Line here is still MN -8. Bring your sunglasses.

Why the sunglasses? Is it because our future is so bright ya gotta wear shades? Sorry couldn't help myself. I get goofy when I get excited.
 


Youngstown Gopher is out the door heading to the Pittsburgh Airport, got a short layover in Memphis then should be in Vegas around 4:00 Vegas time. Can't wait to see the strip buzzing with some maroon and gold. Let's get this W boys and girls!!
 




Advice for anyone who booked to stay at TI... I had a reservation booked a long time ago and I noticed the rates dropped. I called to cancel and rebook and my 2 night stay went from $240 to $177 and they threw in a couple of buffets. Just sayin...
 

Excalibur has a special sale now, $21 a night for Wednesday and Thursday night, and only $44 for Friday, if any of you still need to make room reservations :)

My first Gopher football game since the 2003 Sun Bowl against Oregon, and only my second EVER. Man, it sucks living out of state.

And I'll be right in the middle of the UNLV season ticket section, making new "friends"!!
 

Our flight in to vegas today had a lot of gopher fans. Ran into a few at TI and Chipotle. It's going to be a fun week. We're up on 36 at TI. Hope to see all you guys.

I'm flying in Thursday...didn't wanna drive the 6 hours alone. Enjoy the views around St. George!
