***OFFICIAL PURDUE AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!!***

Sadly, the way we're getting dominated on the line, the punt was the right call. Our O right now...yikes.

We are going to need to take some chances if they keep moving the ball on us.

OMG almighty. Purdue DL is just dominating us. This is as ugly as it gets.

When did we get the Vikings O Line?

This looks like one of those games where I'll quit watching at half time and be happy. Boy do we look like crap. No defense, no offense, horrid QB play.

MVP of the first half, either Carpenter or Santoso. Hard to say...

Mitch needs to dish it to Smith on those. He consistently ignores the check down.

Both our Rt and Rg got burned on that.

So glad we got this new offensive line coach...do we really lack talent this bad or is it just bad coaching? Frustrating to watch.

I'm going with Santoso, since the O has not gotten very deep in Purdue territory.

I was going to run another Claeys Job Safety poll, but I assumed it would be post 4 game winning streak.

On the positive side, our defense has a history of being soft in the first quarter. Too soon to declare the center will not hold.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Surely some revelation is at hand;
Surely the Second Coming is at hand.
The Second Coming! Hardly are those words out
When a vast image out of Spiritus Mundi
Troubles my sight: somewhere in sands of the desert
A shape with lion body and the head of a man,
A gaze blank and pitiless as the sun,
Is moving its slow thighs, while all about it
Reel shadows of the indignant desert birds.
The darkness drops again; but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come round at last,
Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

I was a very mediocre left tackle in my day and played against some D1 talent in high school...never got beat as bad as our guys get beat consistently. Just no cohesion, don't seem to be able to move our feet or even slow the D down sometimes. It is horrible oline play.

I thought he was going to make a first down 1 on 4. Almost did. Good 3 and out though...

I sure like me some Rodney Smith...
