More than likely, but this can only be a guess…he wanted to tell a certain player something specific to their plan, and didn’t want to trust Betts with extended minutes at this time.

Purdue is one of the better matchups in the conference for the Gophers I think. They're not that strong in the front court this year and they're somewhat turnover prone. We've been a bad rebounding team this year against better teams but we have the same number of rebounds as Purdue at the half.

They're still dead eye shooters so they've made us pay when we've left them open.
