Let's not overreact yet. If Kill & staff make adjustments as well as last week, everyhing will be just fine. D line really sucks, not much you can do about that except recruit. we've been rotating in linemen on both sides, maybe we'll wear 'em down. In particular on our offnsive side.

Sorry, but I'm gonna overreact in spades at this wretched display. Even considering how "down" the Gophers have been the last few years, this is just a pitiful display against a putrid NMST team. Frankly, I'm surprised I haven't thrown a chair through the living room window.

What is the point of posting during the game if we can't overreact? Overreaction is what its all about!:cool:

Gray matter

The worst thing that happened in the first half is the touchdown just before halftime. Now we will be forced by the Kill regime to watch the ineptitude of Gray for another half. Apparently, this is not about the Gophers but, instead, its all about Marquis Gray. If he remains at quarterback I for one will not watch.
 


They got lucky, Gray competed in that last drive, they still have a chance. How does New Mexico State put 21 points on you in a half, almost 28 and they weren't give away points either.

This defense hasn't improved a bit.

I thought 6-6 or 5-7 for the season, 1-11 or 2-10 may be more like it.
 

Gray is playing OK, but the defense is playing bad.

You are focusing on Gray after THAT performance on defense?
 






hahaha, first play of the game for Shortell and he runs longer than Q has all day.
 





Shortell runs like he's in disbelief that no one has caught him yet.
 


It's like night and day with Max in there, and just think... last year he was in his senior year in HS. This guy is/will be great!

I'm sure you're impressed with Max's 33 percent completion percentage

Well Shortell had one throw that was horrendous and another that was dropped by McKnight. I don't hate Q at all but Shortell looks so much better out there as a QB than Q does. Anyone who doesn't see that is just playing favorites.
 



Nothing against Shortell but if and when he's named our starter everyone screaming for him now will want Parrish and Alipate after that.
